About Us

Hindpool Nursery - A Community that loves to learn.

 

We have been providing Nursery education for over 40 years at our Early Years purpose-built site and are proud to offer every child who attends Hindpool Nursery a high-quality early years experience in a safe, secure yet exciting and stimulating environment. We continued to provide places through lockdown and all the plans and risk assessments we made for a safe return to Nursery in September 2020 are now ensuring we continue to offer this as we open again fully.

 

The dedication of our friendly, well-experienced and highly qualified staff give each child at Hindpool a flying start and ensures they are well prepared for the next steps of their education journey. We are a school not a business and so Early Years education is our primary focus and is what we're all about! We are the only Nursery School in the Furness area and have 3 consecutive Outstanding inspections to our name. We recognise the needs of working parents and are open all year round (50 weeks) offering places as flexibly as possible to suit each families requirements.

 

We feed to all Infant and Primary Schools across Furness and this summer 2020 had children moving to Reception classes in 9 different schools. As choice of Nursery provision does not affect applications to most Reception classes, families choose us finding the bespoke specialised Early Years education and site we offer preferable to their child being a "little learner in a large school".
